G214Precision Fiber Slicer is used to make the accurate fiber cross-sectional specimens for further inspection or research under the microscope. Insert a bundle of degreased fibers into the fine holes in the upper part of the micro-tome. The insert media is suitable for fiber bundles and can be dried. The fiber bundle is placed on the ejectorand the micrometer is used to determine the desired fiber sample thickness, and the slices can be cut with blade.
1.Turn the micrometer o the bottom, unscrew the two screws on the cover, remove the cover, and pass the fiber through the small hole of the cover from below to expose a small section. Tighten the screws on the cover to push the push plate to the side of the small hole, press the fiber, lock the nuts on the push plate, adjust to the size you want to cut, drop the collodion, and cut the fiber along the cover with blade.
2.The slicer is an integrated design, which is mainly composed of base, sliding plate and dial. The structure is simple, compact and beautiful, and the loading is convenient and fast. It is easy to understand and cut the slices of various fibers cross section having a cross section of 10 um or more.
ASTM D2130 Test method for determining the diameter of wool and other animal fibers by microprojection;
BS 2043 Method for measuring fineness of hair fiber by projection microscope;
DIN 53811 Inspection of textiles; Measurement of fiber diameter from longitudinal projection of microprojection
ISO 137 Determination of the diameter of wool fibers - projection microscopy;
IWSTM 24 Method for measuring the diameter of solvent extracts of wool and other animal hair
IWTO 8-6
Precision cutting available
The slicer is equipped with precision indexing plate, which can cut a section of 10 microns and has an accurate cutting size for testing and analysis.
Quick loading fixture
Sliding plate fixed seat of the slicer is fastened with quick-twist type nuts, which can be quickly installed, loading convenient, reliable and efficient.
Flexible and compact design
The flexible and compact design makes this tester easy to assemble, which can be installed and tested from the lab to the production line at anytime and anywhere.
G214 Precision Fiber Slicer is used to make accurate fiber cross-section specimens for further inspection or research under the microscope.
It is applicable to the performance verification of new products, quality control of the production department, and the of material properties for the third-party testing organization, the product performance verification laboratory, and the quality and technical supervisiondepartment, etc.

1.Turn the micrometer wheel to the end.
2.Screw off the two screws on the cover, remove the cover.
3.Insert the fibre into the slot of the cover showing a small cut out.
4.Tighten the screws up, push the pushing plate to the side of the slot to compress the fibre, lock the nut on the plate.
5.Cut the fibre along the cover with the blade.
6.Turn the micrometer wheel until showing the required parameters.
7.Take drops of collodion on it.
8.Cut the fibre along the cover with the blade again.
