Scope of Application:

The Pull Cylinder Series Equipment Tester operates by securing a test sample between two fixtures or grips. A hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder then applies a precisely controlled pulling force, elongating the sample until it fractures or reaches a specified force or displacement limit. A load cell measures the applied force in real-time, and the displacement or elongation is tracked by measuring the movement of the cylinder rod or crosshead, or by using an extensometer.
